No body in India listens to aam admi, though every political leader claims that his or her agenda is to serve the aam admi. They all claim to work for aam admi but if you ask the aam admi then you will know the truth that they are all cheaters whose agenda is only to cheat aam admi.
A group of 14 prominent and well-regarded citizens has written an "Open Letter To Our Leaders" to express alarm at the "goverance deficit" in :government business and institutions", and underline the "urgent need" to tackle the "malaise of corruption, which is corroding the fabric of our nation". Contents of this letter will be almost identical if an open letter is written by the aam admi to our leaders.
G14's CHARTER
- Investigative agencies and law enforcing bodies should be independent of the executive,
- Create 'genuinely independent and constitutionally constituted regulatory bodies' as an antidote to widespread discretionar decision making 'that has been routinely subjected to extraneous influences',
- Have empowered Lok Ayuktas in every state and introduce the Lok Pal bill at the centre to deal with corruption.
